The world’s biggest pitch competition will be hosted in Johnson City as part of the Tennessee Regional at the Startup Mountain Summit. One founder will earn a shot at $1,000,000 on the global stage.
SMALL TOWN, BIG STAGE
In 2016, a grassroots pitch event brought Northeast Tennessee’s founders together for the first time. What began as Pitches and Pints grew into The Pitch: a regional pitch competition that helped launch companies and build a startup community from the ground up.
Now, that legacy takes its biggest step forward.
The Startup Mountain Summit will host the Startup World Cup Tennessee Regional, connecting Appalachian founders to the world’s largest pitch competition — and a shot at $1,000,000 on the global stage.
HOW IT WORKS ⬇️
Six startups will be selected to pitch in front of an investment panel for a chance to win thousands in prizes and compete for first place. One winner from the Tennessee Regional will qualify for the Startup World Cup Finals in Silicon Valley, California to compete for $1M in funding.
WHO CAN PITCH?
The Pitch application is open to all early-stage businesses, regardless of where you are based out of. You don’t need a Startup World Cup pass to apply, but you are encouraged to purchase a Startup Mountain Summit pass for the full conference experience, access to more investment opportunities, and networking spaces.
